I don't think they are, never heard of them being so.

I have a 94 XE and there isn't one on that.

The car has one, its above the glovebox. It basically just cuts the fuel pump.

Lock and unlock the car and it should disarm it

Only if the ECU code is HD
Non Immobiliser are PJ,PK

I can supply a chip which removes with immobiliser is you need
