bit of a random message so apologies for that.

I work for Kent Fire and Rescue Service, and have got involved in a project at work to build a Youth Engagement Car.

Basically the concept is the car will be converted into Road Traffic Crash (RTC) simulator, using Hydraulics, smoke, and a decent install with screens etc to play a video where a trip to a party goes wrong and ends in a crash, it will be taken to meets/shows and to schools/colleges to ensure the correct and at risk age groups have the simulator experience, and hopefully reduces the risk of a crash ever happening in real life.

Where I’ve come in is being a enthusiast I’m highlighting that a modified car doesn’t involve neon’s and fibreglass which is unfortunately the perception held by many. To highlight the “scene” and also ensure the car that is built actually stands alone as a good/well modified car in its own right Kent Fire and Rescue have organised a meet.

Its basically have a look at some of the decent stuff we have, get some justification on why for example a set of rotiforms or 3SDM’s really do make the difference of the car getting taken seriously over a set of BK wheels and getting peoples feedback and ideas to influence the whole look of the car etc etc whilst also highlighting that modified cars and there owners are a wide and diverse group, which I'm hoping CS members can represent in some way

Cheers

Jr
