if this sort of thing interests you and you're in the north west there's a display of a sunken U-Boat in Birkenhead. It used to be displayed in all one piece but they've cut it into cross sections now so you can see inside nicely!
You can even get a ferrrrryyyy cross the meeeeersey from the same place
