Where do I get hold of a new oil pump or repair kit for a c20let. Been quoted £250 for genuine from autovaux and over £300 for a modified Z20Let pump

That`s expensive for a standard vaux one,good time to be doing the z20 upgrade then bud!

got no history with engine and not heard it running, so dont know how many miles it has done. Would rather fit a new pump to be on safe side as I have just spent over a grand on engine rebuild. Is the z20let pump a good mod?

Iirc flows something like 30% more than original, but sure someone could confirm it.

ive got a Z20let pump and moddifed pick up pipe for sale, steveboyslim has checked it out and said it in perfect working order. want £200 for the pair.

i picked an light use Zlet one up for £11 or something on ebay... as for the pic up pipe just use a 1.7d one and extend it

What is actually done to the z20 oil pump and pick up pipe on the c20 oil pump conversion?

one of the bolts that hold the zlet one on needs changed, other than that the pumps a strate fit...

as for the pick up, the zlet pick up is a totally different shape... however a 1.7 diesel one is ideal it just needs extended 60 or 70mm (cant remember exactly)

1.7 diesel pick up pipe is no longer available, when it was it needed a lot of modification.
