Going on holiday in the early hours of tomorrow and somewhere in my owning my car it has become a tradition for me to have a clean car before I go on holiday
So the the car got a wash and hoover out this afternoon whilst the sun was shining and thought I'd go grab some photos

Got some work to do on it when I get back, need's track rod ends and lower ball joints replacing as there's some knocking coming from the front end. Quite tempted to get some cooksport lowering springs for it seeing as suspension for cup packed 182's is a pain in the ass to find!

Also in dire need of a cup spoiler and some form of splitter!

Thanks for looking!

You've washed the car just to leave it to get dirty from the rain while you go on holiday? Pointless. Looks good though.

I'm coming around to the orange the more I see it. I'm liking it.

Look at the inner track rods for your noise, also get a skoda splitter for the front, Don't bother with a genuine one, It'll get fucked!

Also, Hope you're in no rush for the cooksport springs!

Edit: Are you replacing the whole lower arms? If so make sure you get the correct ones, as yours should run a bit more camber than standard 172's etc.

Ahh okay then, that'll be the tie rods then won't it?

Yeah I'll just be going for a Fabia splitter, can't see why someone would splash out £100+ for a splitter

Yeah I've heard they aren't in much of a rush to produce anymore.

Well looks like both will be getting replaced then, the outer ones have quite a bit of play in them anyway

Yeah, they are like £10 each, I just replaced both on my clio to solve a knocking when steering at low speed.

If you decide you can't wait for Cooksport, Don't buy Apex, They are cheap for a reason!

Yeah I did question those A-Max(?) which are ECP version of Apex springs, I'd rather get Eibachs but don't really want to pay that money just to lower it slightly

Eibach Sportlines are okay, Roughly as low as cooksport springs I think, Proline are the like 5mm lowering.

Problem with cooksport is they have a huge demand for them (See the thread on Cliosport, the last 2/3 pages are all people wanting them!) and they don't seem to order enough!

I have Koni and can't fault them.
