eBay, but most have tiny company writing on as it's the law.

It's not law to have company writing on. Only the kite mark and postcode of where they were made.
I've seen some companies hide this by etching it in the plate or doing it in a colour with less contrast so its still there but less visible.

Which is still writing, by the company, about the company.

I'm not fussed about the kitmark bit on the bottom right as the plates are getting cut down anyway. Just don't want anything underneath in the centre.

Do custom on fancy plates and you won't have any writing at all

Not in a major rush for them for a few week. Thanks.

"All plates are made to comply with BS AU145d Standards
including seller name and BS mark. We do not alter spaces"
Sounds like it has their writing on it, most Ebay companies charge extra for blank ones (normally under 'show plates')

I found a company on ebay that would do plates without makers etc, I simply sent them a email to ask.

Just checked and there is a tiny company name in the centre of the plate.
Here is a pic

That's best bit about having a number plate printer at work! Better just test it works with my own reg!

Had one at my old place! Text my mate who still works there and he's not allowed to do them any more
Looks like fancy plates or show plates will be the answer.

I used fancy plates last week,
There is even a part to put your custom size plate in.
So you don't need to cut afterwards. Had mine standard length but shorter height to fit my recess
