I've just noticed I have a illegal tyre on my front offside.
I have some 14" steel rims with tyres on in my garden from my old corsa as I never got round to getting rid.

However, my astra has 15" wheels.
So could I put 2x 14" wheels on the front axle and keep 15" on the back? (as not all 4 14" are legal, only 2 are).

I'm aware things like this are an MOT failure if on the same axle. I mean I know it'd look stupid but would it make it legal for the time being?

Cheers

Awesome, it doesn't have an MOT due, just drive it about to shops and work and don't wanna be pulled before I have chance to buy a new tyre.

Cheers

Also would it be better to use 14" on the front or back? lol
which will look less ridiculous?

With different style wheels I'm not sure it really matters that much

I once had 14in B SXis on the front and 16in Comp MO6s on the back of my old Corsa for a day or two, either way around it would have looked equally as ropey

Some cars like VX220's and MR2's etc look awesome with double staggered wheels.
