Newsstand can now be placed in a folder! Fucking heureka!
Also, pop-up messages seem to have the same sort of subtle 3D effect as the homescreen wallpaper.

Beta 6 is now out.
For anyone on a lower beta:
Settings -> General -> Software Update -> Install
I cant find the release notes, but all minor fixes.
Just upgraded mine fine this way, didn't see any type of activation screens, it simply updated.

Anyone noticed there battery life been crap? My battery was at 53% after just 5 hours of general use. A few txts and abit of browsing

Mines been the same as always, not great but not crap, for example I've done a few hours of listening to tunein radio and soundcloud, 30ish mins of youtube, few goes on a game and general twitter internet browsing and have 23% left since 7:30 this morning which is about the same as ios6.
Did you setup as a new phone or restore from backup?

i tried to do shift update thing with an ios download but it says that no .ipsw file exists in my download folder? the update i downloaded is a .dmg

I downloaded the dmg software got it all opened for my ipad 3 then shift update started the process. Verified install then said there was a problem updating and immediately stopped? Any advice?

are you using a mac?
And you've pulled the IPSW out of the DMG?
If so, simply try it again..

im using windows 7, i pulled it out but it kept saying unable to install after verification. On downloading i think beta 3 or 2 it installed fine and worked i cant however get my ebay app working  haha

Spent a lot of time in the photos app, I really like the functionality, but the overall whole UI is really cumbersome and difficult to use.
I think it'll confuse a lot of people

If you've got an early beta, you should be able to run the software update direct from the phone
