I'm after something like this for a project.





I won't have access to the plug once its installed, so looking for something that I can put the iPod in and once in, I know the connection is good. Basically, I've got an old knackered CD changer with no internals, that i'm looking to hide the parts for an iPod kit in. To put the ipod in, you just open the sliding door and push it in.

It means I can have the iPod hidden away, in a factory(ish) looking way.

Any suggestions?

I can only find it on one site on the net (minimania) and its no longer available. That would have been perfect.

I've now spent hours looking for something like this. Theres £5 in it for someone that finds something similar for an iPod Classic 120gb

I'd be more inclined to see if you can find a mountable dock connector if you're having this much trouble
