going to chester with the mrs and inlaws at the end of the month and was looking for somewhere to eat.

anyone been?,

whats the food like...also says I may have to make reservations

Went the back end of last summer, the foods pretty good but it's the overall delivery that really makes it tbh. They do a platter with a bit of everything which'll feed 4 if you wanna get a feel for what they do, they do a mean burger as well.

sounds good to me and will suit the mrs dad down to ground if they do a good burger.

Yeah it's really good food. If you're going during the week then I wouldn't bother booking but if it's weekend I would just to be safe.

The all american roadhouse burger is a beast for the money. Or if you're really hungry they do a 50 odd oz steak

I haven't been but know loads of people that like going there, they say the food is really nice, if I was you I would book a table because they do get busy, everybody I know book a table

It's alright, some nicer places about though! Nice food though!

they do stuff on the grill aswell IvIark , anythings better than the pub we went to last time we where in chester lol

uuuuurm it was down the road from the double tree hotel, I wasn't fussed about going but mrs and the inlaws where like "it looks a lovely little pub"

it wasn't lol, was on the side of a dual carriageway

Yea sounds like the Piper, an old school mate is the landlord there - I'll tell him!!

Hickorys is my favourite place when home, defo book if a weekend, try and blag to get it the sports bit.

I recommend burnt ends, chilli cheese chips and the dry ribs!
