Thats not half....
Anyway, it's far easier to hide a few parts than it is a whole car.

Sucks but then again, I'd never park my car somewhere that looks like that :-/

Looks like a normal car park to me, except it's dark and has leaves on the ground.
Where do you park? Buckingham palace?

Seen the head light thefts. Bit crazy. People just cutting them out with a grinder.

Simple. To fix a damaged one.
Looks like a facelift one judging by the wheels. The front bumper alone is near £500 by the time you include all the grilles etc. plus headlights slam panel bonnet rads etc.
Taking £1k in parts easy.
Not saying it's right, but it's why it's been done.

And it won't have taken a lot of time and effort. Half hour max.

Mid day no one around. Van parked in front. No one would see.

I thought about the broad daylight, However I then thought about how often I take cars apart (to work on them, fitting stuff) in random places, without anybody batting an eyelid. A sign written van, or even just a fan full of tools and parts looks good enough.

Happens all the time around here, Usually with Transit vans. My dads work has had a few done, whole front ends, doors even a full interior and dashboard, plus steering column!
Went past a Vauxhall dealer the other week with an Astra VXR with a missing front end on a forecourt!

Its like a more extreme version of when Laguna splitters were all the rage and every station car park was littered with Laguna's minus their splitter

Alot of the new caddy vans have been hit by front end thefts recently from what i've read/heard.
Like said it's a quick and relatively easy job.
