I hate them jacks, never trusted one.

By the way do you not use axle stands too? I rarely do tbh but most people I know do.

I've been using a similair one for 4 or 5 years now and it's still great. Won't go under any sort of hydraulically jacked car without an axle stand, brakes/ wheel changes I'm not too fussed though

Woops.

Closest I've had to jack-drama is lowering the car back down with no handbrake on. Car started rolling away from me towards all my tools etc at the bottom of my "drive" thing.

Car was locked too, so I was just ragging on the handle with the car and then tried to put my foot in front of the car to stop it - anyone watching/recording would have gone viral on youtube in no time, must have looked hilarious

the brake disc is just sat on the wheel. even though it looks like the wheel was touching the arch it actually wasn't. was a fun filled saturday morning.

What happened?

I've do it a few times now, but I make sure the wheels are on till it's on axel stands. My drive is really wonky so only three stands are taking any weight at a time.

jacked it up, took wheel off, swapped it for that mo with the r888 on, bolted up, forgot it needed spacers so undid the bolts as i took the last nut off it just sort of fell forwards off the jack. oops.
