I'm picking up a Golf R32 on saturday in Black, and theres a couple of annoying bodywork bits i want to get sorted. I don't have any photos of them, but one of them is a vertical crease near the edge of the drivers door, is this going to be repairable?

If any of you are local to Wetherby/Harrogate, i'd happily bring the car to where you work to get it looked at as well!

Because i'm wanting people who work in bodyshops to reply to this.

I'll consider a "New Car" thread once i've got the car

Hopefully it's not bad enough to warrant a new skin as I think a repair and painting would probably cost quite a bit less than the skin, supports, glue and the while door painting. It's not a massive crease, almost looks as though someone has opened the door into the edge of a wall.

Surely it would be a hell of a lot cheaper to just buy a 2nd hand door.

Plenty black Mk5s on ebay for breaking.

repairable then, but you'll need a new moulding and the skin needs to be removed from the car to remove the top seal
