Best place for purchasing? Namely a large wardrobe and bedside cabinets.
Don't know if I'm looking for something that doesn't exist but the quality in the likes of IKEA is shit but the price out of places like Oak Furniture Land is ridiculous. Also don't know whether or not I'm going to have to buy poorer quality stuff until I can afford what I really want or if there are places out there doing decent stuff for a reasonable price?

Forrest is one of the only places I wasn't in at the weekend. Might end up having to stick it on finance to get what I want, 0% softens the blow.
I could get fitted wardrobes put in as the frame is barely up but I'd prefer the flexibility of a free standing one as it's only a 2 bedroom.

Forrest normally have a good mix of modern and traditional stuff so worth a look round if nothing else. Also sometimes got ex display stuff at a discount.

Do they normally have sales in furniture places after Christmas or is that a stupid question?
I could wait until then if need be.

Got my stuff from B&Q on a deal weekend. Surprisingly decent flat pack stuff. Extortionate without discount though.

Same but from Homebase. The Schreiber stuff is pretty good. Would not have paid double for it but it's a decent compromise between real wood and the cheap nasty flat pack kits.

I've had an IKEA wardrobe before, albeit a cheap one, which was flimsy crap. Went at the weekend and it all looked and felt the same quality.
Going to go by Homebase later, the stuff online looks decent.

On the contrary - it was much, much better
Going to get it from there, spoke to a guy working at the time and he recommended finding what you want and getting it online where there's bigger discounts.
