Porsche was specifically not for driving to work. If you want a driving experience, you wouldn't buy a 1.2 C, same as you wouldn't really buy a 1.2 anything.

It is still in no way awful to drive, it's also actually better to drive than that Porsche for most of my driving, even outside of going to work.

The mpg will be the same on the 1.4 and 1.8.
I was getting about 35mpg in my 1.4

If you do get one, put the roof up and down at least once a week. Stops the mech sticking.

My Mrs's 1.8 tigra goes surprising well, and its not bad on running costs either so far!

It already has had a wobbly over the roof though but that was soon fixed.
