Trying to work out even why she just toppled over anyway, only thing I can think is the shock temporarily paralised her legs which explains why she fell over and why she didn't get up for a bit

It's been removed.

But as soon I read the title, it reminded me of when my mate slipped over in a pig field, when he was getting over the fence, it grounded out on the shit, and gave him a belt.
