Bought a £550 phone with a provider we have £45 a month contract with (not counting the three other phone numbers or two internet connections).
Charged £8 to get a SIM card that fits new phone.
Are you fucking kidding me???

Believe me, I would if I could.
It's a company contract and we're not allowed to change.
I got permission to change provider for my internet at home after they failed to send the invoice to the company three months in a row and then blocked my connection for missing payment.
Called them up and they admitted fault, but said it would be two weeks for them to re-establish the connection.

Yup. Pretty standard perks over here.
Actually as I occasionally work from home I believe they're required by law to ensure an internet connection.
Pay taxes for it though, but it's something silly like £20 a month for work provided phone, contract, computer and internet.
