i just joined sky, tv only , sky entertainment extra + , with free sky+ hd box
£16 a month for the year, anything I add on should be half price.. apparently. we will see when i go to change something

Round 1 = fail. Could only offer me free fibre broadband for 6 months but didn't want to mirror my previous deal of 1/2 price hd + 1/2 price tv package. Will call tomorrow and cancel if needs be.
Not that i would move to Virgin but their premiere collection looks pretty competitive.

Sky customer services are proper shit.
They should be ringing the customer telling them they can offer them such and such, rather than the customer needing to ring up and give them shit down the phone.
No wonder they've lost shitloads to bt and virgin.

Also the cheeky cunts upgraded me to fibre for free and sent a letter saying as i'm not a new customer, I won't have to run the full 12 months before cancelling.
The next week I got an email telling me I couldn't cancel until next december
Will be getting on the phone to them at the weekend.

At the point of speaking to Sky originally, the retention team didn't want to play ball so we cancelled 10 days ago. Surprise, surprise we started to get phone calls from them and going over what they could do for us....they matched the previous deal without a 12 month commitment which was good enough for us. £68 all in as opposed to the £103 we started to pay.
