He was a fucking terrorist plain and simple, he showed no malice to the people that imprisoned him because his head was full of regret.

I find it disgusting people look up to terrorists, it's on the same level as me saying Hitler was a good man with brilliant ideas but badly executed.

I hope it was salvageable. Didn't look good though. All that debris on top of it. Plus it looked like the windows were gone.

It's always the innocents that suffer

27 years wasn't enough he should have died behind bars.

I bet when Gerry Anderson dies, the people that have sympathy for Nelson, will cheer.

He might like to talk shit but at least he talks truth, the proof has been posted above (the Church street bomb) that Nelson Mandela was directly involved in that attack, killing innocent people.

He was no better than the Islamic extremists that are currently killing people that don't agree with the way they want things.

Some hero you have.

Just in general when everyone is comparing other groups to Islamic terrorists.

ANC and Taliban both made choices to kill people, Islamic extremists have been doing it loooooong before Iraq was 'Liberated'

You're missing a point. Killing people because you've badly misinterpreted a book of fiction is completely different to being a slave because of your race, or a foreign invader stealing your country and treating you like a slave because of, arguably even more stupid than skin being a different colour, because they follow a religion based on a very slightly different made up book than yours.

Did the end justify the means? Might of killed a few "innocents" but arguably hundreds of thousands of lives were saved through the fall of Apartheid?

You're taking this off topic. Mandela was a terrorist, fact! And there is plenty of proof to back it up.

He didn't need to kill people for his beliefs, he chose to and why, if he was fighting for equality for blacks, did he feel the need to kill them too?

Not any more off topic than comparing them with a group who basically just hates the western world for no proper reason.

A few is an understatement, it was thousands of innocent people killed so he could make a point, he didn't need to kill people all it took was for one person to come to power that realised racism didn't work and that happened when F.W De Klerk came into power.
