dont u just hook em up to ur system and it charges itself, it is just a big capacitor aint it?

maplin has them on sale at the mo 1farad with a digital readout for 50 quid - bargain

some of them come with a charging bulb which has to be used to avoid huge sparks.
usually if it has a digital display then it will do it automatically.
