From 1.50 upwards of 300. If it is non oem then fuck all scrap. If it is genuine then give me the part number and I will give you a rough price

Do not get a price from the scrap yard unless he is your dad. The best bet is to look on ebay as most scrap dealers will buy them from there and the price will only be marginally less than what it is worth. Buy 100 cats at 5 profit per cat etc

Was getting £20ea so any more is a bonus, doing 10-15 at a time so its worth a few quid per unit.

Does that list change over time or you just got a big document with them all in? Wouldn't mind a copy if its not too confidential.

Will grab a price for the BMW one tomorrow. Prices can and will change dependant on the prices of precious metals.

Ian, you wouldn't believe how difficult it is to get hold of any sort of literature With prices. To put it into perspective I have an app that has a lot of more current model prices in and I have turned down four figure sums for its name.

04 Citroen piccaso 2.0d I got £100 for
01 Audi a3 was £50 aswell?

It's never made sense to me.

Depends on the amounts of which metals.

Presumably the Citroen one has more stuff in.

Does seem a bit strange that its so essential that people can't know the price. Not like you're going to somehow bring down the inner circle of cat buyers, you'll still need them to hand you the cash when you rock up at the yard with a boot full.

If everybody and his dog knows what they are worth then where would my advantage be as a buyer of cats?

Everyone has an idea they're worth decent money nowadays. It's been in the media about people stealing them off the cars and the precious metals inside them.

Most people just can't be fucked with messing around with cars or going out nicking them.

True, but with everybody selling them on ebay it is fairly easy to sit at home all day and buy them online and then sell them to the cat buyer when they prices are worth a bit more.

And there is so much variation with part numbers that something that looks identical to another, but that ends in b rather than c, can be as much as 200 pound difference, that is where having the catalogue gives you the advantage
