Anyone know of any Irish scams? keep getting calls from this Irish guy with a withheld number saying hes interested in the Puma, asking me to meet him at Holyhead, which isn't happening.
Says hes ringing from a withheld number because its a landline. Think iv tracked down his ebay username from a couple of questions hes asked, he asked the second one like hed never spoke to me before. Hes from Antrim.
Think if he calls again im going to tell him its sold.

It might be legit. Best way to do it is on your terms. You choose the time and place for the viewing/selling and tell him you'll only accept payment direct into your account.

My brother sold his 318 to a guy from Ireland a few years ago, no problems. The guy did make his own way to our house though. If he wants the car he can get closer to you than Holyhead.

As above, i wouldn't start telling lies, I'd just make sure things were on your terms.

At least it will get used as intended now, rather than being a driveway ornament.

Will be nice to see it used if that's the intention.

Yeah I'm going to use it, will keep the best bits of spec from both of them which I think means I'll be mostly keeping your stuff. Only thing I'm not sure about is the wheel size but I don't like my brakes so I'm probably going to have to stay larger on the rim.
But yeah, first outing probably Combe, looking forward to it.

Being from Antrim I doubt he would consider himself 'Irish"
