Hit a deer the other day and cracked the bumper. Fairly clean split, goes back together fine with the edges slightly jagged.
Any of you in the know roughly estimate how much to fix? So far I've been quoted £322 by one person and told I need a new bumper by another.

I personally wouldn't repair it due to size of re crack and where it is.
With the corners they are a lot weaker points and it could easily go again.
Not saying it couldn't repair but I wouldn't.
Get a 2nd hand bumper and then about £200 for painting and fitting plus vat.

Only option really is to take it off and fibreglass the back of it so it's sturdyish again and fill it sand it prime it and paint it but I'd personally go for a new bumper

Blimey got away lightly from hitting a deer!!
As said can be repaired, we have a staple gun at work that you melts staples across a crack then twist them into the plastic. Then trim the staples and fill over it. The staples actually put a lot of strength back into it.
This is it

Benefit of it, if someone wants a cheap quick repair you don't even have to take the bumper off, can do them from the front. I'd say the £300 mark was about right.

We have a few of the staple guns. There good but I still think a bit of extra 2k glue over webbing on the back. Then v out the front and glue that. Then fill.
I have seen huge cracks last ages but have also seen them tap the slightest thing and crack straight away.

Only really after a quick fix as I was going to get an evo 9 bumper kit when I can afford it.
How much would that stapling solution cost?

I wouldn't pay out to get it fixed if your going to replace it and will be looking around £300/£400 ish.
