I have some smoked rear lights, pics are in my project thread:

yesterday the police pulled me over and said my tail lights look kind of pink..theyre coloured red bulbs but I think the white ish glass lens makes it look kind of pink. Idk, can anyone enlighten me on the legality of these lights? I already assume they're not MOT legal as there's no reflective strip but I assume I can get one of those stick on reflective stickers for that?. I just want to be able to drive about without being pulled. I dont want to change the lights as they suit the car colour well.

Any help cheers.

Holes in the actual lights will need filing/sanding down though except the brake light hole to allow the led to fit through and dont forget the leds need to be p21's with opposite pins.

Cheers for the link. I do have some red bulbs but theyre not LEDs. Will LEDs definitely look red on these lights? Thanks for all the help mate

Yes 100 per cent mate, had same problem with my clear rears untill I changed to leds. Like I say just make holes bigger to allow led to fit through on lights. Got some clear lights and led bulbs here, where u from.
