Seriously, £27k!!!!!!!
2006, paid £17.5k.
£27k, It shows. Used to see VXR's everywhere. I've hardly seen any new shape ones.
276bhp is pretty lame also. VAG groups 2.0 ran 10bhp less than that for years. New gen is 300bhp.
Sounds like the Monaro. Hmmm, its selling at this price, lets bump it right up. Oh, wait, no-ones buying them now
Expect this VXR to be low/mid £30k region. For that price, people will still go for the Renault.

I don't see the market for barry'd up astras, surely they only appeal to people who are mentally about 18yrs old and they can't afford them, if your in your 30's and have a respectable job would you really want to be driving about in a overpriced maxpower top 100 type car.

Nice. If they lose the yellow shit and the numbers, that will look very tasty.

The new one?
Thats another car that simply isn't selling (good reason, it looks ruddy awful).
Is it a trend change? When the VXR/ST/Megan came out originally, they all sold like hotcakes. ST and VXR's were literally everywhere (round here anyway). ST's I'd say were more common than the Astra, I'd see more ST's than I would lower spec models.
Now though, I think I could count on one hand this year, the amount of VXR's and ST's combined.
Makes me wonder if the market for Hot Hatches appeared, and now has vanished just as quickly?
Of course, it could be that the previous gen were good looking cars, and the current gen look bland (VXR), and something out of Fast N Furious - Carpark Cruizers (ST). I mean, whats with that exhaust
I wouldn't consider either these days.

I see new focus st's every day, literally double figures.
Most likely because you can get them for less than 20k fully loaded.

You live in Essex,
Round here, you dont see many at all, and im only across the river. Would be interested to see the selling stats. I'll bet my ass its nothing like the previous gen ST.

Previous st was 3 and 5 Dr. Now it's just 5 Dr and estate.
The deals on st's now are unbelievable. A lot cheaper than what I got my old one for.
