She looks like Cheryl Tweedy in some pics and then other pics she looks mental. Like she would stab you during sex.

Isn't there some law stating you can't be tried twice for the same crime?
I know it was a film but i though it was a real law too? :s

Laws aren't worldwide, Scottish and English laws aren't the same let alone American and Italian like you are comparing.

I will be honest I never really believed they committed the crime, so seeing them at a retrial being released was fair enough, but for them to be found guilty yet again based on no actual evidence is strange and whats even worse no real end insight for the the Kercher family. Italian justice for you.

Someone is in prison for Meredeth's murder, why not just ask him who did it?

The case was messed up from the beginning, just like Madeline McCann's in Portugal. I am talking about the first person to be made "arguido".

Double jeopardy - you can be retried in the UK if new evidence is found. Not sure about Italy, but seeing as the prime minister can change the law so he doesn't go to prison for fucking kids I guess they do what they like.

Doesn't matter anyway, they haven't retried her, just overturned the appeal verdict.

That's a good point actually.

I guess tthe thing is, they'd have to extradited her and from what I heard that's unlikely to happen. It would be at the discretion of the US secretary of state and it sounds like there is a lot of support for her over there. Politics e.t.c...

I was going to illustrate how fucking bonkers the Italians are by using that as a reference but you beat me to it.

The prosecutor who has created the case, stating a "sex game" was the cause pretty much uses wacky oddball claims in most of the murder cases he proposes: it's like CORSA NUT being a solicitor. No, it wasn't the jealous ex boyfriend with a history of violence, it was aliens and or the illuminati.

Occums razor comes to mind.

She was found guilty, then her lawyers found a piece of evidence used to convict her shouldn't have been allowed to be used. This meant her conviction had to be quashed. So was released. She has beeen re-tried but this time that piece of evidence wasn't used in the trial and they still found her guilty.

Not double jeapardy. I personally don't think she did it but I haven't heard ALL the evidence.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

So she was freed on a technicality rather than being found not guilty?

Even her name turns me on, in fact I'm attracted to all these female murders that get away with it. Still got a soft spot for Kate Mccan
