I fail to see why it went viral and he felt humiliated?
It took him a few attempts to smash the window, but its not a big deal?

Excellent use of my tax.
Can he not donate it to the people who need it with flooded homes?

Don't worry though, they've spent over half a mil to recover £250 fine. Excellent policing there.

That footage certainly doesn't look like the actions of someone alleged to be Sergeant material, as far as i'm concerned.
There's an old adage that went ''set a thief, to catch a thief'' that applied to the police in 'the bad old days'.
It seems that this still holds true in some cases today in a modern police force.
With the exception of their uniforms in place of hoodies or baseball caps or similar, the officers attacking the car look no different to the abhorrent types that smashed and looted sections of greater London in 2011 (ironically whilst the police stood and watched in many cases).
Were it not for the fact they've been proven to be coppers, one would assume that was an attack by some pikies or inner city/ghetto/housing estate type scum.

Does even look that much of a deal tbh. He should have laughed it off. Would've done some more damage to the silly old cunts car myself tbh. Glad he got the same treatment that anybody else would have

Aside to the ridiculous compensation side of this, why did the guy in the Range Rover not just pull over initially and why did he resist getting out the car?!

Story is. The OAP had already been stopped but then drove off creating a car chase. after minuets of the chase he was again pulled over, but during that time the OAP put others at risk and did some other bad shizzle so the Police man decided it was best to break open the window and remove the keys to stop him for pulling away again. After wards he got destroyed at work for it and ended up leaving. ( Belive me getting builied can hit someone hard no matter how old you are ) the payout is the result of what future earning he would of had including the well paid pension you get in the force. Its high but lets face it if it was a 17 year old black kid in a corsa who got pulled over he would of gotten a medal instead.
