Yup I honestly do not see the fascination with them. Too square at the front and they look too Sweedish. Earlier cars where god awful inside.

Small company doing some properly innovative engineering. Looks are subjective but the technology is amazing.
Also fast, the video of it leaving a Veyron is mindblowing ( I don't care what modified car can do the same).
Only 110 Koenigseggs built so rarer than a lot of the other exotica.

Was going to mention they have only built 100 odd cars in 10years. That is rare. Tech is amazing, as is Mr Konigseggs story IIRC. But I'm just not a fan.

Can't disagree with that; Koenigsegg are doing some amazing things.
Although i'm not a fan of the styling of newer Koenigsegg's (Agera onwards), looks like they've taken cues from Lamborghini and SSC; the CCR and CCX are still my favourite cars and the sound is immense - http://youtu.be/lkpDVxdL9U0?t=5m31s

I think they only have 1 test mule as well so they have to just fit the new tech to that and test, no 100 million pound budgets. They had to do all the crash testing with 1 because they don't have another one to use.

They're basically kit cars - I view them like they're Ultimas, but a million times madder. This car is bloody impressive, even if it is a little strange looking. I guess it looks the way it does because the designers have spent a lot of time playing with CFD analysis.

It won't be popular, but i'm going to say it. I don't give a damn how fast that goes or how well it drives.
I think it looks bloody horrible. Inside and out. There, i've said it. Sorry if it offends.
I'm sure this is all about function over form, but the original car looked far purer (and prettier) to my mind.

Peter Stevens (who's designed a few cars in his time) would probably have something to say about this car. There was an article a while back where he was saying that car designers have forgotten how to make beautiful cars because there's too much concentration on what the FEA says and limitations in CAD. Think he used F1 cars as an example.
