Council schemes have more dog shit on the pavements and couches abandoned in gardens that's the difference.

I live in a council property. Have done for 8 years. I pay 60 a week rent and 18 council tax. In one of the nicest villages in Scotland, I can see mountains out my windows and everything.

People with greater needs get council houses quicker. If you put your name on the list when you were 18 at least you would have an excuse as to why youre still at home at the age of 30+.

I don't think there for thick people, I know people who have been brought up on a council estate with no help and made something of themselves.

Brought up on a council estate and then making something of yourself is different from being brought up on a council estate then ending up in one anyway, or being brought up elsewhere, then ending up in one.

Nowt wrong with council areas. Iv lived in a (privately rented) but in a bit of a scummy area and had the bollox of a time, much more down to earth people. Even managed to bang the latvian chick next door. Now I live in a private road in one of the nicest parts of town and the neighbours dont even say hello. Cunts.
