Hexagon are chancing their luck a little with the price, but to be honest if I had the money, I'd probably buy it anyway. Well, maybe if it was RHD.

When you said that Tom, I guessed at fifty grand or something nearly as silly as that...

This one is good news for my dad.

http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/porsche/911-993/porsche-993-turbo-with-x50-factory-upgrade/2107666?isexperiment=true

It's the more common, less powerful X50.
It's a year older.
The only plus is that it has slightly less miles.

True story.

I had the opportunity to buy a 993 GT2 a few years back.
Expendable money when still living at parents etc.
Talked out of it by my dear ol' mother because it was too "flashy" for my age. FML

Ouch

I told my dad to get one ages ago, but he decided against it.
They were under £200k at the time. Now I think it's closer to £350k for one.

I want to say I'm over it but, I'm not.
Mention it to my mum every now and again

Also, was bidding on a nice number plate at auction. Chickened out at several thousand. Could've made a nice lump then too. Ooooooooh welllll

The lesson to be learned here is don't take advice from mothers when it comes to cars.
Sons know best

My wife hated the fact I bought my first Porsche without telling her.
Made over £10k in two years then bought another without telling her.
Lesson learnt

My boss scrapped a Ford Mexico shell back when he was my age because he took the interior out and lost some bits, so couldn't put it back together properly... Kicks himself for it every day of his life haha

Guy I know was telling me how he used to have a 993 RSR, and how much he regrets selling. Worth at least £100k now.

I'd be quite happy with a rep!

An RSR would be worth a lot more than £100k.
A decent one would be more like £200k.
