because when you open it using the bottom one air will be leaking in as your ment to use the top smaller one , i did the same on my wilwoods thats how i know

Aye if you bleed them from the bottom, the air in the calipers will be rising to the top thus making the bleeding process pointless.
You would know about it though as you have had the calipers off to paint etc, so when you put them back on, you wouldn't have been able to bleed them at all and the pedal would be hitting the floor.
Check the pads out 1st, if they are EBC yellows, change them.

excuse the technical drawing but i hope point a/b/c is pointing up atm im guessing your bleeding it by opening up point a , if so you need to put a pipe over point c and stick that in a container containing the old/excess brake fluid and open up point b and bleed it that way, you might have to go round the car a few times doing it to get the pedal right

Corsa sport, excuse me if I'm wrong but I think you've got confused with what part i was bleeding from. It wasn't bottom of caliper, it was bottom of nipple point a in bens pic

My comment was more in relation to what would happen if you had them fitted the wrong way.
i.e, you wouldn't have any brakes at all.
