Are they expensive? Always fancied sitting there jamming away. Alike the thread's guitar hero wannabes, I reckon I'd be a wicked drummer

I paid 600 ish. Got a good bonus at work this month.

That's what I bought. It's supposed to be decent for an electronic set. I'd prefer a real kit but my neighbours would go mental.

I think I'd only want a real set once I was a pro so nobody could hear how shit I was whilst learning.

£600 is a lit to waste when you don't even know if you will enjoy it

I used to play them when I was younger, it's something I've always wanted to do again so it's not exactly wasted money.

My neighbour is autistic and his parents bought him a drum kit for Xmas . He goes out to his garage almost every night and smashes shit out of it . I don't know if am getting numb to it but I think he may be getting slightly better

Nice one Nic! Only problem I have with electric kits is the amount of rebound you get from the skins. You find yourself doing doubles a lot quicker than you would on an acoustic. Still perfect for what you are looking for though

And there went 3 hours of my evening playing along to songs on my phone. I can still play ok which is good! Really enjoyed it! Will try and spend a couple of hours every other night on it.
