A mate from work was bumped into on Sunday evening, he was on a roundabout and was hit by someone coming down a slip road to fast to stop and give way. we were debating in work today whether or not his insurance company will write his car off or not, The car is a 2002 corsa c so I can imagine the parts, paint and labour costs being close to how much the car is worth. just thought I could get a few more opinions on this? heres a pic of my mates corsa and the damage on the car that hit him.

Yep. Worth fuck all these are. Take off 40% of the value and that doesn't leave much to play with. I wrote off a few when I was doing estimating as the cost was far too much. Could maybe see if they could repair with pattern parts to help bring the cost down

Probably both a cat c.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
