Just got one for the wife
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

Cheaper than that from the play store aren't they?
Apparently not, £299+ on there. Assumed they were around Nexus4 prices. Obviously not

I'm still on my Nexus 4, sitting at 3gb free even with a load of podcasts stored on there so until I run out of memory (16gb model) I wont be upgrading. It still runs any apps I can throw at it, really impressive piece of kit even 2 and a bit (if not more?) years down the line

Brother has one, it's a nice bit of kit.
Surprisingly it doesn't feel cheap at all. On the contrary it feels more solid than the Samsung phones I've held.

I went from S3 to N5 and was amazed at this.

Nexus 5 feels really good. Obviously doesn't feel as sturdy as a chunk of aluminium but the rubber type texture and ceramic buttons are nicer to hold.

Had mine since launch-ish, generally very good, only really the camera lets it down. Doesn't feel like you have hold of it firmly enough, and takes a while to focus.
Caller ID thing is quite cool though.

Camera is THE let-down on it, I've been forced into using an iPhone whilst in the US and I forgot how much better a phone camera can be, but the sheer frustration of having to use iOS still makes me long for the Nexus again.
