Hello
Could anyone help me please. I need the security code for a Renault radio. Supposedly there's an app for Android that can do it (Windows phone here) and I know some of you have little applications that can do it. Would be much appreciated.
Model: 8200485082
S/N: 41248786
Cheers

Renault dont normally charge for the codes.... ring up with your chassis number and they "should" give you it.

Not sure what that means. Just asking for 4 digit code on screen. In the paperwork I have this little card with security code written at the top then the details I posted. It looks like the 4digit code I actually need was torn off it

Renault want a tenner lol
Doesn't seem to be any model id on the front of it, guess I'll have to pop it out. It's the 6disc changer one in a megane 225 if that helps.

If you google it there's a programme that you can get for free and you can do it your self, or there's places on eBay that do it cheap . They probably use the same programme that I just said about

Looks like you need more digits for the serial number?

That might mean you've put the code in, and the error is because the discs won't play.
I've got the software to do the A123 format codes if you have one of those on the case anywhere.

Didn't think of that ha, just assumed I'd done the code wrong. I'm gonna go out and check again what it's doing now.
Probs would be easier pulling it to get proper model/serial, but I don't have any of the release keys
