No he doesn't:

Jul, the Danish Christmas, is celebrated throughout December starting either at the beginning of Advent or on December 1 with a variety of traditions. Christmas Eve, Juleaften, the main event of Yule, is celebrated on evening of December 24, the evening before the two Christmas holidays, December 25 and 26th

Christmas Eve I believe.

We eat, drink, dance around the tree, and in the end unwrap presents. On the 25th christmas is basically over.

Wearing a tie is not strange, even on Xmas day. One day you may understand this

I wear a tie everyday for work, thanks though .
I didn't say wearing a tie was strange, I said wearing one specifically on xmas day was strange, TO ME.

I may understand what? That it's not strange to wear a tie on Xmas day? Ok. I'm not relaly sure what you're getting at, or if it's an attempt at a sly dig for no reason..

Always dress smarter on Christmas Day but tbh most the time out of work I wear a shirt and smart jumper.

Can totally understand shirt and tie though.
