Think it was asking for trouble that plate not that any of it was justified

They under estimated the kick back from having that plate on the car regardless of how us Brits see it

For £250 they could have stuck anyplate on the car from the DVLA but wanted a reaction but not one so severe

I was about to say surely a £3 text check could discover if that plate was put on the car on purpose.

They said no one noticed till 2 days before filming started whitter, far too late to do anything with it.

In Argentina it never wore the plate from day 1 so to be fair to them it's not like they didn't do anything about it, and if they had wanted a reaction why bother taking it off.

It did have the plate on in Argentina

I don't buy they didn't notice it, I noticed about 5 seconds after I first saw it and hadn't read about it prior to watching it

They knew it would spark a reaction either from the viewers or the public

You will also notice the camera shots focus on the Porsche plate at the beginning and none of the other cars plates

Perhaps because it's assumed everybody who hasn't been living under a rock will know what happened subsequently because of the plate?

It was quite heavily featured on the news in October when filming was taking place.

I often think the cars aren't as nice as they appear on the screen.

Just got round to watching part 2.

Beaver gloves and hats

Boonet vent mysteriously disappeared from the porsche after being in that workshop. Very odd.

Argentinians (the radical minority at a guess) have shown themselves up to be complete cunts and deserve everything they get. Falklands part 2 please.
