Have ordered another HikVision 2CD2032-I but unfortunately it's not connecting to a PoE switch like the ones at the house; can anyone recommend a decent PoE injector?

I'd just long term borrow (read take and never replace) anything at work that would resemble suitable Haha. Check out the ubiquiti poe injectors... That's what us currently in stock Haha.

It's going to be a bit difficult to "borrow" considering it's for the office
I was looking at the Ubiquiti injectors as they can be had for £10/12 but from what i can see, they don't appear to conform to 802.3af as they're below 44v (only can see 15 or 24v jobbies). Saying that, it's only a 30m run so i'm assuming a 24v PoE might work
Anyone got any other recommendations?

What about a Cisco one? I've never had one give up on me before :-)

Is it POE+ rather than standard POE? could this be the issue?

The HikVision just needs vanilla 802.3af PoE, rather than 802.3at PoE+. The Ubiquiti injectors don't appear to conform to any 802.3 standard, rather it seems they use their own system, so i'm a bit windy about using them.
Either way, i went for some Level One injector as they had it going cheap on the site i ordered the HikVision from; touch wood it'll be ok
