Brother got me a brew barrel for Xmas (www.brewbarrel.co.uk)
Very simple. Just chuck all the ingredients in the barrel with some hot and some cold water, flip the barrel after a day. Leave it for 5 more then chuck it on the fridge for two
Came out lovely. Nice and fruity pale ale.
Anyway it's made me look into home brewing abit more, I drink a lot of different types of ales and fancy trying my hand at a brew
Anyone ever done it?

I've done it with a Brewzer. My mate used to do it properly with all the containers, tubes, mash buckets etc. He mad bitter, lager and stout. All tasted good.

Brewzer any good? Not sure wether to get another kit this one or try find something abit more in depth. Nothing too mad but this brew barrel was just pour it in the barrel and wait. Rather learn abit more about it while I do it.

I've got 40 pints on the go at the minute. Some are conditioning in the garage at the minute and the rest are bottled with priming sugars.

Probably vast amounts of information on google for you. My dad used to make wine a long time ago, all I remember is a big barrel with a tube sticking out that bubbles now and then. Can imagine it to be really interesting if you got into it

It was just a one time use kit. Once you have made the beer you can't use it again. Actually tasted ok but its not the same as a proper kit.
