Yeah, it backs onto britwell, but it backs onto an end of a terrace house and there's no window on that end so it's not overlooked

Had a rather unplesant phone call from the selling estate agents son, ranting and raving saying why did I list it with someone else and not them etc. and that it changes everything and he's been telling people about my flat. which 1) Theyv'e never seen or 2) I havent signed anything to say i'd sell it with them.
To be fair, he tried the hard push, of they will pout the house on the market again etc. which doesn't bother us, we aren't buying it because we need the extra rooms, or because its in a certain catchment area for schools. Which I would thin some people would go for and get him to sell their property too.
In other news, my flat is not on Rightmove...

Do you think thats too much? or not enough? Either way its sold for full asking on first viewing to a cash buyer
Not officially accepted yet as have 3 more cash buyers tomorrow and will try to see if i can get a bidding war on the go.

News in regards to the property we were buying, Glen Flegg the estate agents, have put it back on the market because I wasn't going to sell my flat with them...
Very awkward as my flat sold in a day with another agent.

I'm not actually sure they can do that, they have to put your offer forward to the vendor, who have accepted. I'm sure they can't make the decision, it's you or the vendor that pulls out surely? Phonecall to CAB?

It all comes down to what the owner has instructed. If they have said leave it on the market then they can leave it on the market, even if they have accepted your offer. The joys of our screwed up system. Until contracts have been exchanged nothing is sure.
I would wander over to the house and have a word with the owners in a situation like this. Ask them if they have asked to have it put back on the market?

I called the estate agents this morning, and after a rather heated conversation on my half towards him, Ben Flegg, the house has been taken off the market again for me.
I also explained I didnt appreciate his agressive phone call the other night which amazingly he couldn't recall it being agressive in anyway! So he said he would listen ot the phone call, and I asekd him how he was going to do that when he called me from his mobile? Literally they must think I was born yesterday, he called me from his mobile on purpose for the exact reason it isn't recorded!
In summary, flats sold, and the house is mine again.

Who do these estate agent wally's think they are ffs . They act like they are better than everyone else. Last one I dealt with I got that angry with how he spoke to me I went into the shop and fronted him. He wouldn't put an offer in because it only went up that day, so I went to the neighbors house got the daughters number drove and met her and did the deal. He wasn't impressed when I called him back to tell him. Jumped up arrogant fuckers at the best from what I've seen

Yeah but then you have to live up north, Gav.
Full of benefits scroungers and people with flaky skin, roaming the streets with a can of tennents supers in their grubby mitts.

Just to keep progress, my flat which was up for £175,000 finally sold for £182,000 for a 1 bedroom flat
You could buy a 5 bed detached house up north for that!
