anyone help out with car tax/registration?
my impreza is 1997, imported into the uk in 2007
im paying £285 a year tax (£299 by dd)
now should i be paying pre 2001 tax rate (£230)?
i have rang the useless dvla who just waffle on about co2 figures and sheep, they say its based on emissions because of the 2007 registration in the uk, but the .gov website just states its based on its year of first registration( no mention of uk registration) which would be 1998 in japan, as stated on the v5
so who is right, anyone delt with this before?
