Kent cam, kent adjustable pulley, weber carb, K&N, 4 branch, the good old stuff....
Well, it's NEARLY standard I suppose....

mk2 golf will always be a favourite, a nice red, pre 90 model is what i want after my c, had a 1.8 gti when i was q6 but stripped it for parts when i found it was too far gone would love a mk2 escort at some point as well

Been a couple of years now Jim and that was only very briefly.
There's a short-list of niggly jobs that need doing to get her road-ready, that I can't do with my back in it's present condition and with my current absence of funds.
Hence the lack of use.
I've had mine 15 years now.
Tends to get used as a cupboard rather than transport though

Yep, I am aware of a few of their foibles and what works well on them - my cousin had one for 9 year or so. Got rid due to reliability issues, driveway neglect and then rot. It was sold and is being reshelled at the moment though.
I loved it though. Went well when it worked.
