Bet misfire isnt the egr valve.

why not just fix it for the sale if its only £32

I always think that too. Probably has a piston missing.

Can the egr cause a misfire as mine was f****d and causing the eml to come on but after 2000 miles oil changed and petrol treatment its went off but now sometimes has a misfire under load mostly when I change gear and reapply the throttle it does it?
