He does SLS up here with us, and is kinda mid-pack in Class C (power to weight classes).
Have you seen the pictures of him flying over the Chicane
Pilot sport cups wouldn't have been my choice in any wet weather, but good going nonetheless. Difficult conditions for your first event!

I was on my own and couldn't be bothered to change to my road/wet tyre. So just kept the semi slicks on. Going to but the dz03g on the rear for brands hatch. Cut some bits out and try to push it as much as I can.
As I went to the shed yesterday and I kinda started cutting and removing some items.
As my esp and abs is off I'm looking at pedal boxes at the moment but it proves rather difficult when you run a dbw throttle.

I wouldnt bother with a pedel box... why do you really need one?
Spend the money on tyres/brakes/running costs/trackdays/tuition
Not saying you are crap just have found that simply using the car more makes you a hell of a lot quicker than adding gucci bits

There is a good weight saving but it's weight vs time to do it. As they were made left hand drive the clutch and brake pedals have bars going across the front section.
Going to try and get a brands evening in if there any in there next couple of weeks.

What else would you expect? Its club motor sport if that for Time Attack. There is only a select few series i can enter with a turbo charged car. Time Attack you can pretty much do what you like and its different.
Even though its not classed as racing on the track when you're three abreast on the straight it certainly feels like it!
In 2013 i spent more on track days than the entry fee for TA

It's club level motorsport..... what do you expect? Million £ prize funds?
They used to (and still sometimes do) give out prizes to winners... race fuel, harnesses, etc etc
I have competed in about 5 different MSA series and not one of them have offered cash prizes on a regular basis.
Nic - how much cash did you win all those times you pressed the accelerator in a straight line? If you paid to enter that must have been such a waste of money

I just thought you actually get some financial prize at the end of it all. Especially considering the amount you guys plough into these cars.
