The GTs have one of the worst rear ends of any modern car, more so in the 5 series flavour

Lol at people with arguments over front wheel and rear wheel drive
For 90% of driving situations there is little difference yes when pushing rwd gives better balance and feedback for neutral steering
But for most of us who drive work and back down motorways and a road in grid lock traffic I fail to see how fwd has such an impact
Having owned rwd and now got a fwd - do I miss it. Not really only I. Exceptional circumstances
It certainly wouldn't dictate my next car for doing 30k a year

Almost. The 3 is a 4-door, except when it's a 5-door and the 4 is a 3-door except when it's a 5-door.
I think there's a couple of cm difference between the 3 and 4-series 5-door, yet people will try to claim that they are vastly different.

I need to get a job there, more than I get payed!

I thought BMW were going to go down the Audi route, but opposite, so even's for Coupes and odd's for Saloons, but no.
2-series comes in Coupe & Convertible (3 door), Active Tourer (5 door) and Gran Tourer (5 door)
3-series comes in Saloon (4 door), Touring (5 door) and Gran Turismo (5 door)
4-series comes in Coupe & Convertible (3 door) and Gran Coupe (5 door).
5-series follows the same pattern as 3-series, and 6-series the same as the 4-series.

Basically, they've lost their ethos and just churn cars out now for maximum profit, most BMW's are starting to look very samey from the front, as are Mercedes and Audi too.

I'd prefer me some variety. Not a big fan of BMW's anyway not because right now I couldn't afford one, just seem to be driven by tossers mostly. I would however own a decent BMW like the lad whos just got a M135, M4's look amazing too and I didn't know until recently they weighed under 1500KG and have over 400 bhp
