Is that the textured stuff?

I saw an L200 at a carshow a couple of weeks back painted in a textured black (looked like stone chip).. It was awesome

Just remember you will effect the re-sale value as not everyone will appreciate having a car that resembles a giant sanding block.

I'm planning on keeping her for a while, besides, with defenders there's a higher chance of selling as a work vehicle rather than privately.
Costing me 5k for the car and less then 100 for the full respray so I'm fairly set to make money regardless

No Andy, the Paint and Materials cost you £50..

When someone says "I'm having it resprayed for £100" you assume they are paying £100 for a respray...

What you mean is you/your mate painted your car for FREE and you paid for materials.. There's a distinct difference..

Painted this with my mate a year or so ago, looks awesome. Never ever scratches or scuffs and comes clean with just a spray of prewash and a jet wash. What do you need to know?

And in the background of this

That looks Fantastic! One question was about general care, how easily it is to clean, does it chip etc? But mainly did you just do chassis? I'm debating doing the plastic trims, round winch etc too but wondered how well it went on different materials? What's the drying time as I've read so many different answers on that too

Oh, and how many coats did you do and did you finish with a separate lacquer?

Cleaning is very very easy. Stuff just falls off it.
And it's very hard to scratch or chip atall. That thing gets abused off road and I've not seen a scratch on it so far
Did the actual chassis itself. The body. The bumpers. The front grill and the wing mirrors. Works well on all of them
Ours was in an oven so it will be different to your drying time, I can't remember exactly how long it took to be fair but we left it in the oven for a lot longer than it needed just to be sure.
As for amount of coats, you put it on using what is basically a Shultz gun. So it goes on thick and fast. Can put as many coats as needed on but t doesn't take many really. And there's no lacquer or anything on that one.

A lad I used to know through my old boss had his 110 done in this stuff in black and it looks awesome!

I'd be surprised is the value didn't go up after having this done
