I have now got the irish girl who is funny.
Lvl 30 with the X01 power armour from the place near godneighbour.
Got to the point with save the castle, did that and it was great fun! but it cancelled BOS which annoyed me so reloaded.
Want to start levelling up quicker now as wanna mod power amour before i get bored of the game.

I reckon i confused the game, as at the end i was in the pryden with preston garvey as my companion, completed the game and still friends with both and was no mission to save them minutemen, as i'd read online

If you dont get to the point of saving enough settlements i dont think it activates "save the castle mission" therefore you just carry on with BOS and it never happens.

Completed BOS storyling last night, 1 day and 10 hours and at level 33.
Have got the X01 armour but swapped the chest for Paladin Danse T60 so i could equip the jetpack. Jetpack was the most exciting thing to me as an objective. However it was the biggest pile of TOSH ever.
Not sure on replay value now, not sure if i will be bothered to go around again and spend hours doing little side missions?
Think im going to by Farcry Primal next week and Just Cause 3 also looks like a good buy.

The storyline in Just Cause 3 was boring as hell.
I completed it likewise, put about 3 days play into.
I would wait til you can get it cheap as fuck tbh.

I seemed to rush through the main storyline then when it came to choosing sides I did butt loads of side missions. I think I'm level 60 and decided to side with the Brotherhood, in MkIV X-01 armour with daft weapons it seemed a little too easy 
I wish I hadn't turned on the railroad so quickly, hardly did any missions for them at all. Not sure if I'll pray about any further, seems a little hollow now the main story is done!
