I've just purchased one for the Alfa after fitting a DAB stereo in Dad's A-Class and being blown away how good it is. Plus I can get Moyles on Radio X in the mornings with this to.

Must be worth a go for £30, I plan to hide mine in the armrest of the Mito.

Does this receive the Digital signal then convert it to a FM signal for the car to pick up?

The full price one comes with a magnetic aerial apparently, I'm going to wait and see before I buy an aerial. I'll probably get a glass mount one if it doesn't come with a freebie, a la:

DAB is crap doing long distance, constantly breaking up. I find myself always back on FM.

If your car has AUX input, why not just use your phone?

Yep, have the same problem in the fiesta. Keeps cutting out constantly. Pointless. We just keep it on FM now as we're not superstar DJ's, so can't tell the difference in quality.

Same for mine, waste of time on even the most reasonable distance of a journey.

Glad i'm not the only one! You would think DAB would have reasonable signal living just 15 miles from the capital city, but no. Even on the most direct route into the city on a major road, it still cuts out.

I found the dab in my old fiesta kept losing signal but in my fiesta st it's fine. The only difference being the dab was added as an option on the first fiesta.

My Alpine headunit has 'DAB Control' stamped on the front of it... what do I need to get that working? Never really thought about getting it before.
