Don't normally post on here much of my work but think some of you may appreciate this car.
Would be what you call a real barn find. Apparently 1 or 72 built. 1 owner from new. 4,000 miles and not been driven since 96. The dealer who I do work for bought it and has done a lot of work to get it all good and road worthy and wanted to bring some life back to the interior and paintwork. Wasent going for full correction due to time restraints but still came up very well. Hard to really capture in the pictures but it has gone very flat and green. But really came up bright white and glossy. Paint was sealed with Nippon Shine King of gloss and trims done in Auto Finesse Revive.
Also had full length plates added and think it actually really suits the car and finishes it off a treat.
It has now sold to a customer who saw it the next morning as part of a deal with a Vanquish S and this to add to his collection.
How it was when I received it:

Washed with a Dooka wash pad and Envy Car Care Shampoo:

Decontaminated with a fall out remover and Bikt Hamber clay:

Dried with Auto Finesse Aqua Deluxe drying towel and compressed air:

Old Sticky pads being removed:

A lot of mould over the steering wheel and seats:

The Porsche rear reflector and lights were heavily swirled so we're fully machined:

Can just see the right where it is flat and green:

Finished pics:
Interior deep cleaned and leather treated:

And bodywork all polished and sealed:

Very cool! White steering wheel was an odd choice... any idea what it's worth?

Shorter plates looked terrible. Cars like this should look as original as possible

Don't think they do personally. Yeah it's a 2nd hand clock unit. The customer is taking it and then it's being sent off to get changed. They already have smashed a glass unit trying to change the other spare!

^ Not chavy but just because they are on a nice car doesn't mean they look good

Looks better than having a lot of blank plate either side I think.

Recesses are generally the size of a UK plate so anything smaller looks odd.
All down to personal preference though

I actually think short plates distract the eye and you end up noticing the numberplate more. At least a standard plate size you just overlook it.

On the 182's smaller plate looks great but its non legal on the front when you do it. If i removed the space on the m5 it would look odd
