I'd get them ones tbh, if they tried out 22 different types they must be the best

Vwr springs come recommended by Americans. The Americans know about vehicles that handle well. I shall take that recommendation.

Tbh internet reviews are pretty bad to judge, as most people will rave on about what they bought, having never tried anything else, and then it just spirals out of control and everyone jumps on the bandwgaon

That explains your affection for the corrado. I have driven different cars as well as a corrado that's why I know they are not very good. Makes sense now.

I'd probs lean more towards the Eibach. Heard only good things, we have put them on the RS (well they are in the box waiting to go on). No point putting cheap springs on a car which could ruin the ride quality.

Don't see where cheap is coming in to it?

Edit, in fact you've recommended a cheaper option than the other 2

The H&R stuff is far from cheap, very widely used in the VAG world.

H&R springs in my experience are quite stiff, Eibachs are far more forgiving on our roads. Bare in mind these springs are designed in Germany and road tested on perfect surfaces.

Interesting to see how this will unfold as i can't imagine there are many mk7 golfs in the scrapyard where Nic buys car parts.
